Nodaway County Clerk's office opening up for absentee voting


MARYVILLE, Mo. - The Nodaway County Clerk's office will be opened for absentee ballot voting May 30 ahead of the June 2 Municipal Election.

County Clerk Melinda Patton told KXCV/KRNW that the office is always opened the Saturday before an election for absentee voting due to absence or illness, but acknowledges the potential increase in absentee voting.

The office will be opened from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday. It will also be opened for absentee voting, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. For more information, contact the county clerk's office at 660-582-2251.
